We originally embarked on the keeping of poultry, not only because we like chooks, but to assist us with controlling ticks and with the Guinea Fowl, other pests in our houseyard.

Robbie's interest expanded to hatching eggs, and his success with this enterprise meant our poultry population increased greatly.    The natural progression to this was to offer the offspring up for sale, and of course, widen our chooking breeding to pure bred.

Our original Frizzle Rooster of course, soon told the others that he was King of the Mountain, so that, and the need to ensure the purety of the offspring had Robbie building pens quick smart.

Our little Frizzle Rooster didn't lose his place of pride and continues to breed varied and pretty frizzle and plain bantums with his little clutch of ladies.

Our pure breeds are maturing up now to being able to produce their offspring.
