| I am the very much in love owner of a Ruby Cavalier called Lucy (she will be 8 on 3 December 2019). Unfortunately she was diagnosed yesterday with clinical congestive heart failure. We lost our beautiful 15 year old Australian Terrier, Bart, a year ago and after a long period of sadness feel that now we are able to give a new little one a good home. I am so excited I feel like a pregnant mother to be.

I have his little ashes in my formal lounge room.

| I love your website for the information it provides on these beautiful dogs and for the message you give people about caring for animals. I sympathise with your loss of one boy through toad poisoning. I too went through this with my four year old cavvie - who died in my arms at the vet. It is excruciating to watch so much pain being suffered on a beautiful animal. Everyone needs to be on the watch for these vile creatures and ensure their pets safety. I have now lost three cavvies - two recently from MVD - and only yesterday purchased my number four, from a breeder in Coffs Harbour. Within only 24 hours we have decided that he needs a playmate - a lovely tri girl (like our last two). We may be in touch.

| Thank you for your advice on designer dogs- I have the most beautiful Maltese KCS x she was a mature adoption, I thought that I would be getting hybrid vigour if I bought one of these dogs.
Unfortunately, since getting her she has had multiple healt problems which will probably mean a shortened life and whilst I wouldn't trade her for the world and will do everything to make her life comfortable - I would never adopt a designer dog again. People who read this be warned - it is heart breaking when you know that to save your loved pet from agony that you will need to shorten their life.
I will be coming to you for my next dog as I can see that you really take care of your little ones
