Leolyn Penelope (retired) (Penny)

Our first Cavalier, Penny, is always hearing about how 'it's her fault' that the family has increased, hence we couldn't leave her out of this line up.    Now very much the matriach of  the clan, had she not brought such pleasure to our household, we might never have been quite so involved as we have become.   For those who have not yet had the pleasure of sharing a house with a Cavalier, this might sound a little mushy, but 'mark my words', bring one into your household and you'll be hooked for life.    Evey minute of the day is pumped full of 'love' with a capital L where a Cavalier is concerned - both to receive it and give it back.   It was because of Penny that we brought others into our family and decided to embark on a breeding programme.

Winjax Melanie (Lilly)

Although a full sister to Holly (below), you couldn't find two girls both similar and different at the same time.   She has a sweet and gentle personality, but has a more 'look at me' regality and nature.   She's also our 'Prima Donna', so dubbed because she is demonstrative and dramatic in her need to be noticed and if there's a problem or she is hurt.

Again, she has the beautiful conformation and movement of this line and is a joy to have in our family, although she's a little tubby with pregnancy in these photos.

Winjax Mira Belle (Holly)

Our little Holly can only be described as a 'stress tonic'.   One only has to rest their eyes on this little girl and it's impossible not to relax and end up with a smile on your face.   She emits an aura of sweetness, kindness and love, so much so that even the 'don't touch my bed' Rotweiler cannot resist her aura and she is one of the few who are allowed on his bed.   Holly 'loves' everyone, dog or human, and although at times she tries to be a big tough watch dog, her natural gentleness and 'wooo wooo wooo's do little but produce a smile on the possible predator's face.

Not only is her personality a joy, but her conformation, movement and markings including the Cavi Lozenge - again an expectation of this line - give equal joy to behold.

Melriver Flossy Top (Flossie)

Flossy is a very gentle personality and a mixture of tentativeness and a born 'looker afterer'.    She is always the first to be there if there is any sign of a problem, either with one of the other dogs, or with anyone entering our property that she does not know.    She will be the one to find you to alert you.

As a puppy she could have been described as the awkward ugly duckling, and as she matures, she's certainly changing and could well be a swan.    Flossie is an adoring and attentive mother and her puppies are indeed beautiful.

We wouldn't be without our little Flossy personality.  As you can see, Flossy is not comfortable with the limelight and cameras.

Chrisindy Reba McIntyre (Reba)

Reba is the mother of our boy Chrisindy Allan Jackson and one only has to take a look at her to see where at least half of his good looks have come from.

Reba is a confident and alert little girl and can always been seen with the ears pricked, assessing whatever is happening in the immediately vicinity.

She's one of the first to come up for pats and cuddles with a smile and tail wag.   Call her name, and she's off towards you before the last cyllable is uttered.

She mixes with young and old alike and settled in very quickly to her new home.

Reba has had a short show career and we're very tempted to let her show her bright personality in the show ring again.

Chrisindy More Magic (Jessica)

Jessica has a permanent, 'I love you, I love YOU, I REALLY do LOVE YOU' look on her face.    She could melt mountains with that look and she's certainly won the hearts of all our other girls, whether it's the look or not I'm unsure.

Like Cara, she's a very gentle soul and shows it in just about everything she does.   She's more inclined to waddle through the throng to ensure she gets pats and adoration and who could ignore that 'look' anyway.

She immediately built such a bond with us and our brood that we feel as though we've had Jessica for years.

Chrisindy Miss Andretti (Zena)

We thought we had the 'princess of all princesses' in our Lilly, but while Zena is younger, I think she's got the status down pat far better than Lilly ever had.

With looks like hers Zena can afford to be dramatic, but she's learning that she will need to relax a little to ensure she get's the attention she feels she's due.

She's a very sweet and gentle girl despite the dramatics and has blended very well and very quickly with our other juveniles.

She also loves puppies and can be seen in amongst the babies enjoying her interaction with them very much, when not aware that she's being watched, of course.

We're looking towards giving Zena a huge amount of socialisation and experiences in the hope that we may be able to pop her in the show ring.

Leolyn Thripenny Rose

Well, it took nearly 18 months, but the wait was worth it.    We finally came home with our little tri girl with exactly the same breeding as our much loved original Cavalier, Penny.

Little Rose has all the beautiful looks and attributes of sweet personality, bright intelligence and total adaptability, and cuddles, don't forget the cuddles, as her older sister.

We look forward to watching Rose grow up to be a stunning young lady.  In the meantime we (and especially Fifi - our Papi girl) will just enjoy her with pleasure.

Cavalrite Queen Daisy (Daisy)

this beautiful young lady has personality plus and having grown up with 3 energetic, slightly 'mad' Papi puppies she has a very fluid energetic and lovely to behold movement.  She has her father's great bone and no doubt, his lovely head as well.  Certainly she has his sparkling eyes.

Daisy has earned a Baby of Breed in her short show career, but unfortunately we haven't had the chance to show her since.

Now starting to show her adult beauty our little Daisy certainly hasn't disappointed us in any way.

Elfking Ebony (Ebony)

Sometimes your life is governed by those you love and the addition of little Ebony was certainly such a case.

Ebony came to us from the same kennel as Jack and was meant to be a pet for another member of the family, however, she was too good to be just a 'pet' and is happily ensconced in the family group.

Her beauty, breeding, happy personality and other attributes make her a very suitable future mate for Darcey who's quite keen on the little girl.   She, the Chrisindy girls and Skye will form the basis for our 'solid' colour girls.

We absolutely love her to bits and she will happily be part of our lives forever more.

Melriver Heaven Sent (Skye)

Skye would give anyone who doesn't know her the impression that she has always missed out on available cuddles and is going to make sure she doesn't miss out on yours - all with the one simple action of literally launching herself into the worlds fastest and highes lunge onto your lap.

In fact the opposite of this impression is true, simply because it's impossible to sit down and not find that you have this little ruby girl sitting on your lap while you are surrounded by the rest of the clan at your feet.

Her youthful exuberance and enthusiasm makes her a favourite with everyone, human or canine and she is showing every sign of growing up into a beautiful young lady.

Skye comes from the same kennel as our Flossy, but her 'out there' personality is vastly different from the eternally caring personality of her kennel sister.

Jastbah Hope (Hope)

Little Hope would have to have the sweetest of personalities.    Like Cara, she asks permission to do anything at the same time as indicating that she would reeeelly like to do it if it's o.k.

Despite her sweetness, she manages to mingle with the more robust personalities quite happily, although more tenatative about some of the activities, preferring to assess it before joining in.

She's the sweetest little girl and has her father's (Winjax Just Benson) good looks and bone.

She's one of the future generation and we're happy to watch her antics and development as she grows into a young lady.

Charismagic

(Cassie)

We managed to keep a little girl from Jessica's litter for ourselves.  Not an easy task, but we managed to hold onto this magical little girl.

Such a beautiful mixture of her mother and father with the happiest and sweetest little personality.

Very little phases little Cassie and as soon as she was allowed out on her own, she was off adventuring, racing back for a quick cuddle before setting off into the big wild world of the lawn.

We'll take great pleasure in watching this little girl grow up to be an equally beautiful young lady.

Davmur Pied Piper

(Piper)

This beautiful little feminine child is the grandaughter of our past boy Tuppence and our Lilly, so when the opportunity arose we were more than pleased to bring Piper into our family.

With a lovely daddy and her Winjax heritage, Piper certainly looks and behaves as if we had bred her ourselves.

We are so proud of this little girl and look forward to watching her mature into the beautiful young lady we foresee her to be.

Miss Jacara

(Cara)

This little 'wasn't meant to be' beauty was all Jack's idea.  Breeder's don't want to admit their mistakes usually, but this little girl only arrived because our Jack decided not to wait for the young lady I had gone off to get for him, jumped over a rather high fence and by the time I returned had happily mated with our Zena (destined for Connor I might add).

Whether meant to be, this little girl certainly believes she had a right to be here with all the pluck of a giant, despite her small stature and a regality that is only fitting for a well-bred Cavalier - which she is, thankfully.

Add a good dose of absolute sweetness and you have the recipe for a captured heart for anyone who comes into contact with her.

Tennasee Rose

(Tenna)

Take a look at this stunning little girl !!!!   Right from birth, Tenna has had 'look at me' in truck loads.

We still have to blink to make sure we're not dreaming when we look at her and I doubt that this will change.

With stunning good looks and a beautiful, placid little personality, Tenna has only to be herself to bowl anyone over.

She's a joy to behold and to have.

Rochyville Princess Nova (Nova)

Like our little Cara, Nova wasn't a planned mating and Julie Bunt's Cavalrite Cassanova took it into his head to be a father to the wrong girl.

The resulting litter was beautiful nevertheless and this little girl was one which I couldn't pass up as she is half Winjax line by our puppy, Cassanova.

Mistake or not, little Nova is of the belief that she was meant to be here and is making the most of every minute, always with a smile on her face and 'into everything'.

Pick her up and you are smothered in kizzes as are any of the other kids.

Cavalrite Lira

(Lira)

This little lass is the grandaughter of our Penny and Tuppence and daughter of our beloved Connor.

While she has inherited her mother and father's good looks, one look at this little girl's eyes thoroughly tags her as Tuppence's grandaughter.   The sparkle is one that we've only ever witnessed once before.

Lira has her daddy and mummy's sweet personality and will take over from our retired Penny.

Jastbah Cooloola Girl (Connie)

I can't look at this little cherub without firmly believing I'm looking at a reincarnation of our beloved Connor.  The likeness is stunning as you can see in the comparison photo.

She has her mother and father's sweet disposition and character and with her lovely markings, she is quite a stunner.

Cavalrite Kiss Me  Kate (Katie)

Daughter of our Reba and Duke, little Katie is practically a clone of her mummy, right down to the passionate kizzes she's only too happy to share with anyone who's willing to receive them.

A very pretty little girl, sweet but with plenty of pluck which indeed she needs to survive the energetic and gunho crowd of youngsters she's growing up with.

Always the first to ask, and of course get, a cuddle and with half closed eyes, absolutely adores every minute of it.  That's our Katie.

In Memorium

Cavalrite Faith (Faith)

It is with a very heavy and sad heart that we had to say goodbye to our little darling on 11th March, 2009.

Faith was raised with the assistance of our beautiful Papillon Princess and our teamwork at hand-feeding as she just couldn't cope with all the brothers and sisters in her litter and was missing out on titty all the way.    There were times when we wondered whether she had the fight to pull through, but she hung on and what she lacked in size, she certainly, without question, made up for in 'pluck'.

We're not sure whether we're just absolutely and totally biased or not, but we believe our little girl was one of the prettiest and sweetest little Cavi girls we've known.   For one so young and who's life was cut short at 6 months, she certainly packed a lifetime of selfless love into our lives, always with that cute little smile of hers, .   We will always miss her dreadfully.

Saving Grace

(Gracie)

Gracie was rescued in the nick of time from underneath her mother as a tiny baby, Gracie was seconds from her last breath.

Her absolute will to live and our teamwork in 'being there for her' resulted in her revival after a week of question marks as to whether or not she would survive.

Gracie was a little behind her siblings in development, but continually displays her determination to make up the difference and live a happy and healthy little life.

We were absolutely devastated when we lost little Gracie with complications following tick poisoning.  Although caught early, her reduced mobility skills and her reactions to the anti-venom treatment overtook her, despite the immediate, professional and lengthy efforts of the vet on duty.
