Our boys are available for stud to approved females.

Winjax Just Benson (Benson)

Benson is one of our three Winjax dogs.  He has the element of 'quality' of conformation and markings that we have come to expect from this line.  He has lovely bone and a wonderful, placid and sweet personality.   He is loved by both humans and dogs of all ages, easily mixing with all.   He's a perfect 'gentleman' with the lades who are quick to become coy in his presence.   He is well balanced with younger male dogs, showing a placid and patient nature, but will bring the young fellas into line if necessary.

Sadly, our Benson is getting on in years now and only sires a litter here and there.

Chrisindy Allan Jackson (Jack)

This beautiful boy completes our four colours and we're so proud to have him in our family.

He has a confident, quiet, loving disposition and is already drawing nearly as many cuddles from visitors as Darcey, our heretofore all time best cuddle in the world.

Jack is a watcher and thinker before he embarks on anything, including rumbles with the other youngsters.  We're sure that given the chance, he could solve all the world's problems.

He's also very keen for cuddles and happily relaxes in your arms, with a gentle kiss on the cheek here and there.   He's such a sweetie.

He's a stunner and those eyes would melt ice.

Jack has just graduated to stud dog with his first girl.   Again he seems to have learnt well from his mentor, although his first time held some surprises for him, judging from the look on his face.

Clarelly Bad Moon Rising  (Rev)

Our boy arrived on the 7th April and having gotten over the swamping of the younger kids in welcome, set about making himself at home.

With his superb parents and Winjax derivatives, we're probably very biased about this little boy, but we believe justifiably so.

Along the path of our involvement with breeding and showing, we have had the pleasure of coming into contact with breeders who are not only wonderfully discerning in their endeavours, but also fabulous people like Jan Kelly and Lyn Renn and we thank them sincerely for their trust and the wonderful opportunities they have afforded us.

Coalbundy Just Duke (Duke)

Little Duke comes from North Queensland from a stud that I have been watching for some time.    On researching the pedigrees and types I found a little boy who will be very complimentary to our breeding programme.

Duke arrived with plenty of kisses and cuddles at the ready and we were soon smothered in his stored up affection and excitement at having arrived.

He very quickly blended with the other kids,  and is such a little ray of sunshine to have around.

Everybody loves Duke, canines and humans alike.

St Luke Magic Man (Merlin)

When asked 'what I thought of this boy' I merely answered the question honestly.  I was delighted to later discover that the reason I had been asked was because I had mentioned that I needed a solid boy to replace a black and tan who had not been successful as a sire.

Merlin arrived having kept our new Rottweiler boy company in the same crate for the road trip home, and not only has he quickly become a part of our household, both for us and the other Cavi and Tibbi kids, but his loving, quietly confident and sweet personality is equalled only by our little angel Cara.

This puppy arrived with the obvious care and socialisation that one ought to be able to expect from any kennel, but don't necessarily get.   He has been, and no doubt will continue to be, a dream of a child to have, and to see.

Even though he's still too young, the girls like him too.

Merlin has been certified heart and eye clear.

Our Young Hopefuls

Our search for a young Benson

As our beautiful Benson is getting on in years and he carries bloodlines that are now non-existent, we are endeavouring to breed a protege for him.   Until we make this decision, the 'pick' of boys in his litters will be retained by us and allowed to mature up into young men.    We will eventually make the decision as to who will carry on from Benson, and in the meantime we will thoroughly enjoy the company of these handsome and delightful boys.    So far, we have retained the following 'Benson kids' and you're welcome to watch them grow with us.

Cavalrite Just Nelson (Nelson)

Like all his littermates, Nelson has the sweetest, smiliest, tail waggiest personality you could ever hope to meet.

Son of Benson and Holly, Nelson is one of the little boys we have chosen to keep to ensure we have a protege for Benson once he has to retire as 'top sire' of the kennel.

Nelson has a lovely, love of life, personality and beautiful looks as well.

We enjoy his company immensely as do the other youngsters and we will take great pleasure in watching him grow into a handsome young man.

Cavalrite Black & White Minstral (Minstral)

We always intended to keep a couple of little boys from Benson's litters with Holly and Lilly, and when this little boy came along we couldn't resist adding him to our Benson Protege prospects.

One look at him tells you why, although choosing between him and his brother Banjo was quite a task as they're pretty much twins.

We're just so proud of this little boy and will love watching him grow into a very handsome young man, indeed.

Cavalrite Zane Gray  (Zane)

We were absolutely devastated with the loss of Zane's daddy when he mouthed the mother of all cane toads.  We believe that at the time he was protecting his girl (Zena) from the nasty monster.

Connor had already mated with Zena and we looked with fingers and toes crossed for a boy in the litter to carry on Connor's good work.    If we were to lose Connor, this mating was the best we could wish for to keep his protege from.

Zena gave us two boys and Zane was our choice to carry on for his father.

There are times when it's like looking into his father's face again, but there are other times when one could swear he's a clone of his mother.   Either way, this little boy shows the potential of being equally as stunning a young man as his father was.

We're very proud of this lil boy.

Amerlie Just Winston  (Winston)

When we were offered the choice of two boys who's ancestry was not only extremely strong in the lines we love, but with dogs of these lines that are missing from pedigrees of our other dogs, we knew we couldn't miss out on this opportunity.   The biggest problem was choosing between the two boys and it was only at the last minute we chose our Winston.

Already a charmer, both in looks and personality and extremely willing to pose for the camera, Winston has settled in quickly with our exuberant youngsters and feels very much at home.

This little man has certainly chosen us as his forever home.

In Memorium

Roswell Just Connor (Connor)

On the evening of the 21st January, 2010 our beautiful little Connor took it upon himself to mouth a Cane Toad and despite our efforts to save him we didn't even have time to get him to the vet before he died.    Folks it took 15 minutes for the poison to kill our adored and beautiful boy, so please be careful of your dogs and cane toads.  It is commonly thought that Queensland bred dogs seem to have an inate knowledge of the dangers of these toads, and we have certainly found this to be seemingly so, and have only experienced interest in the vermin from dogs born down south, but don't take any chances.    We had missed a very big one in our nightly patrols to keep the cane toad population down.  Try to keep your yards as cane toad free as possible, and express to your dog that cane toads are off limits.    I certainly wouldn't want any of you to go through the distress of trying to save an adored little dog the way we have just experienced.

We can now but wait to see whether he has left us a protege in his impending litters.
