As some of our youngsters are now maturing and doing well in their new lives, we've added a "Brag Sheet" under the 'Our Dogs' tag. Feel free to browse and see how the kids are going.

We take a great deal of care when choosing our dogs. We're looking for good breeding principles, carefully selected backgrounds and while there's no such thing as a perfect dog we seek the best there is available in our dogs' health, backgrounds, conformation and personality.
We've been lucky enough to 'be in the right place at the right time' and therefore have some lines in both breeds which are not at all easy to procure. We definitely have our preferred types in each breed and want to ensure that our own lines include the attributes we most admire ourselves and we believe are true to type for the breeds.
Our girls and boys are loved as dearly as our children and they return that love and affection in kind. They are 'spoilt' by a lot of people's standards, but not by own standards. Each and every one of our dogs knows it's special - even the rickety old guard dog, our Rottweiler Pippin, who takes her guardianship role very seriously where her little girls are concerned. She have some difficulty maintaining any privacy of her own huge den where the girls are concerned, and her rumblings of discontent are met with smiles, wagging tails and bodies and even 'licks on the face' before they depart and leave him in peace.
The boys of each breed have their own 'den' which opens onto a large exercise area for them. They can happily mark their territory and have their honeymoons with their chosen girls whenever called up, and I might add they are more than pleased to be called to duty.
There are of course, padded beds abounding and winter jumpers for the cold weather. These all make up for the (o.k. if you insist) weekly hydrobath and full groom and nail clipping. Not their favourite past-time, but exciting just the same. Of course everything is approached with joy in both these breeds, regardless of how they could do without it.
All of the have their turn at being around the house and the younger ones and mothers to be are actually 'under our feet', which can be quite interesting at times.
As a result we have very loving, happy, healthy and definitely friendly dogs and we have no doubts about being 'loved' in our household.
Have a browse through our dogs and puppies pages and enjoy.
If you have any queries, we'd be happy to answer them for you.
Cheers,
Maggie & Robbie
